Loose Fit

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as the weather in Toronto is slowly warming up. I am definitely looking forward to less layers and more sunshine. I recently picked up these comfy trousers from Aritzia and I absolutely love them. With work and wedding planning pretty much eating up all my time, it is nice to be able to dress more casually on my days off.

The Weekend

Hi everyone, I know it's been a while since i've posted up an outfit. This is actually my first fashion post of 2015 yay! Well I hope you guys are all enjoying the new year and keeping up with those new year resolutions...if you aren't there's always next years ^_^ haha kidding, please do try to keep up with them as it is still pretty early in the year.

Speaking about the new year, I've been pretty busy with work and getting my wedding planning business all set up. I assisted my first wedding over the weekend and honestly, it was the best feeling ever. Although it can get crazy sometimes managing people on such an important day it is also very rewarding. The bride was amazing, didn't stress about anything and really just enjoyed her special day. And so, Sunday I was able to take sometime out of my schedule to do a shoot. Hope you guys like it and hope you all have a wonderful week :)

Review: SmatBuyGlasses

If many of you have been following my posts for a while you would notice that I have a small fetish for sunglasses. Ok, well maybe not small but still a generous amount to be called a collection.

Recently I've been contacted by a company called SmartBuyGlasses which is one of the world's leading designer eyewear retailer in Canada. They are part of the SmartBuyGlasses optical group which extends to the USA and Italy. Speaking specifically of the Canadian site, they are dedicated to provide their customers with a wide variety of designer sunglasses, prescription glasses, contact lenses and other  optical products and services at the best prices possible. The company offers a complete selection of designer brands including Gucci, Tom Ford, YSL, Fendi to name a few. The company also offers free domestic and international delivery, a free $25 cleaning kit and a 100 day return policy. Now, I really want to emphasis on their fast delivery as I literally received my designer pair the next day. There is a lot more information on their website so please remember to go check it out.

Another thing I want to point out about the company is that they also give back to the community which is always nice. They have a program called Buy One, Give One where for every pair of glasses sold they give another pair to someone in need. "When we give, whether it be to a friend or a stranger we are sharing our joy, efforts and existence with others." I am all for companies that try to make a difference!

SmartBuyGlasses was generous enough to let me select a pair on their website and I chose the Yves Saint Laurent Classic 6 in Havana. As mentioned earlier, my sunglasses arrived the next day and I couldn't wait to try them on. It came in the standard Saint Laurent leather case with their cleaning kit that included a spray, a soft cloth and a glasses frame screwdriver keychain. The sunglasses fit me perfectly and is definitely my favourite pair.

Thank you 2014

In a blink of an eye here we are celebrating the start of a new year. Although I am looking forward to 2015 and what it has to hold it is also nice to look back and reflect on the past year. 2014 had be quite a memorable year with many accomplishments, epic memories and uncontrollable laughter.

I started the year with a surprise birthday trip to Montreal from my boyfriend and (thankfully) missed the ice storm in Toronto. I toured Asia with my family in March. I got to travel around Bangkok in a tuktuk, see the 12 apostles in Australia, ride an elephant and see the famous street arts of Penang to name a few. This trip really opened up my eyes and made my hunger to travel even more. Seven cities, four countries and twelve flights later I was home. Now on the topic of flying, when i got back my boyfriend and I did many mini trips throughout the summer including a trip to Tobermory and a weekend at the cottage.

The later part of the year was just as exciting and interesting as the first. It included a trip to Vegas (I can't say much about that because after all what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas) I completed my wedding planning certificate and can't wait to launch my own company, was invited to Fashion Week as part of media, spent Halloween with my support system , celebrated 4 amazing years with my boyfriend and here I am.

All in all 2014 treated me pretty well, I was able to collaborate with numerous companies and meet other fellow bloggers who continue to inspire me in every way. Now I don't want to dwell too long on my personal life so here is a recap of some of my favourite outfits from 2014. I want to thank you guys for all your love and support across all my social medias. Hope you guys had an awesome new years and all the best in 2015.
